dont forget the conservatives at u of minny wont play the sue ne more due to the "derogatory" nickname, but then the bean counters at u of ms. minny blindfold the conservatives during hockey (i hate the hot goalie in the playoffs, get them smaller pads) and let the gophies play the sue (as in lawsuit) because they need the beans (both schools).

The reason they still play them in hockey is because of conference membership. Thats the only reason.

The game vs Duluth will be interesting as always. With the bulldogs play their super defensive style again this year? With Duluth as a community ever raise enough money to build a new arena? The DECC is getting pretty old and is too small.

I think it's in downtown Duluth. It was actually the community center. I'm sure the facility is cozy, but a far cry from the Ralph, Marichui (sp), National Concrete - I mean National Hockey Center, etc.

I know that Duluth has tried to get money from the state to build a new arena, but so far it hasn't made it to get funded.
