The funniest comments to me:

Coach Bohl, when discussing where Tyler Roehl came from:

"I know a lot of coaches don't think there are any good players in North Dakota..." (Hope Brewster wasn't listening....)

Sid, after offering Bohl a Manny's gift certificate and Bohl saying he accepts and will use it while recruiting the metro. Sid responded:

"Don't use that when recruiting against the Gophers, though."

Even Sid has his moments. I laughed pretty hard and he was very nice to Coach Bohl.

Huh? We're on probation, but we are division I already so I do not think he is correct.

NDSU is still in year four of the reclassification process. A visit by NCAA representatives (completed this week) and a vote by the active DI members are still required before NDSU is an official DI school.

NDSU will be a member of DI next year, once all sports are eligible for playoffs.

Well what division are they right now then? Everyone knows there are formalities that need to happen before everything is complete but we're DI already. We had our first DI game against Valpo. Besides, I highly doubt Sid was referring to (or was even aware of) a technicality.

NDSU is complying with DI scheduling requirements, but is in a state of limbo as far as division membership. Well past the requirements/rules of DII, but not fully certified and eligible for all DI championships.

I can see someone saying NDSU is DI, but I will hold off stating that until NDSU meets the NCAA requirements.
