2007 Schedule

The slate is tough but that's the best thing you can do if you're a wrestling team. I firmly believe in wrestling the toughest teams/wrestlers possible. The Herd are wrestling Minnesota & Northwestern in dual matches. They're also at the Northern Iowa open. And most importantly, they're in TEXAS!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) Looks like a great slate that is ended with the West Regional in Fargo.

They are also traveling to the Virginia Duals which they placed in last year. The Virginia Duals is one of the most prestigous tournaments in college wrestling. They could possibly run into Oklahoma State or Illinois at that tourney. Minnesota is #1, Northwestern #6, Okie State #2, and Illinois # 11.

The Bison should do good against the teams in their region but will have a very hard time against those upper tier teams. It is good that they are not shying away from tough competition though. Hopefully, this schedule helps them with recruiting.
