I emailed Chris Kelly earlier in the week asking him his thoughts on the Bison Gopher game. Here is what he wrote back...

No column this week - I am out of town until tomorrow and it was too much with other commitments going on. But I definitely take the Bison. no way would I pick against them again. I do agree with your assessment though - the Bison are going to have to throw to win it but when it's in Walker's hands that's a good thing. They'll try to establish Roehl and might be a little tougher this week but Walker will throw the ball well. I bet it close just higher scoring this year.

I'd say Bison 27 Golden Gophers 24
