This guy seems to be one of the most level headed und alumni I've ever come accross. Honestly, he is a very good writer for the Trib.

Decent column. He did get one thing wrong: Minnesota's one victory was against Miami(Ohio) of the MAC, not a FCS team as he claims.

I noticed that too, but forgave them because the MAC wouldn't even be the best FCS conference this year.

Typical Sioux fan, has to throw in a reference to NDSU being the "agriculture college". I wear my yellow NDAC shirt (from Scheels) with pride. Ummm, U of M is the "ag college" of Minnesota as well. So is UW-Madison, U of Illinois, Ohio State, Florida, LSU, Virginia Tech...enough rambling.

I think the reason for his objectivity is the fact that he's not a sportswriter.
