SDSU throttled Utah Valley 7-1 in the rain today. Not an impressive looking team like they were last year. Looks like the Bison are playing solid this year.

"We are looking for some consistency," UV head coach Brent Anderson said. "We came out against North Dakota State and played a very good game on Friday. But today we came out against a similar South Dakota State team today and struggled."

It’s always best to look at the match from both points of view such as the above Utah Valley (2-11-1) coach’s, who by the way disputed the blatant handling of their disputed non-goal against the Herd.

No doubt, the Bison Women have to put together a full 90 minute "A-Game" effort the next two games. It's safe to assume the Herd have a score to settle after SDSU's set-piece game winning goal last year in DC.

You guys beat us at our house last year so we got a score to settle too:nod:. Come Thursday night at 7:00 its on at the Fishback Soccer Complex here in Brookings. If anyone needs directions the easiest ways are either down 22nd Ave, which is the one going north south by Perkins. Head all the way south past the golf course, take a right before the road turns into a two lane road. Go west on 20th Street South the fields will be on the south side of the street, can't miss em. Or you can go down 6th street aka highway 14, turn at the Shell Station onto Medary. Keep on Medary for a while, eventually you'll get out into wide open places. There will be a 4 way stop and on the southeast corner of that you will see the soccer complex. Hope some fans come down, I'd love to meet some Bison fans down at Cubby's to BS over $2.50 drinks, almost anything and everything including doubles and triples are only $2.50.
