Nobody left the program. Dan took the position previously heald by Jason Kemp, who is now a full time assistant coach for Coach Phillips. Jason Kemp the last two seasons was a "Graduate Manager" (Grad Assistant Coach). My understanding is Jason took that specific title so he could be on the floor coaching and involved with practices. As a title of "Basketball Operations", that staff member is much more limited in coaching aspects and holds more of an administrative role. It is the same position Coach Phillips heald at University of Wisconson.
