Finally something that the Angry Elf can shake his tiny finger at: Signatures and Their Rampant Growth.

Four guidelines (well, 3 is a rule and 4 is a strong suggestion):

1. Some of the signatures are too freaking big. I'm talking nearly life size. So big that I'd have to shrink them to use as my desktop on a 20" flat panel. So big that if I did have a monitor big enough to show the whole thing without scrolling, folks on the space shuttle would be able to see it.
2. Keep in mind that some folks like to take a peek at the site at work (hehe, I'm looking at you WYO).
3. If you are going to link to a photo, it has to be copyright free or you must get permission to use it.
4. If you are going to post a photo of somebody in your signature, please get their permission (there is some wiggle room here - if you decide you want a photo of a public figure, that's OK as long as the photo passes rule #3).

Um, I hope I'm not sounding ticked off or anything.

Thought I posted this earlier today but don't see it. If I've subjected you to a redundant lecture, I apologize - not that I feel that hot about giving this one.

No. I can see the gold teeth, but there is no green. Photoshop the hat?

Tough crowd to please here, you know.

edit: gee whiz, you change signatures faster than / as often as I post!

is this good?

The photo looks fine to me as long as the subject doesn't complain. The size was the problem - too tall. 200 pixels tall is plenty for a signature image so I resized it and changed your link to use a resized copy of the image. I'm pretty sure you know how to do that but if not, feel free to ask for help.

Large signature images were becoming too much of an issue (hehe, the threshhold for "becoming too much of an issue" is obviously pretty small).

Anyway, I just got done testing it and it looks like it works. If you want a signature image, it looks like you have to do the following:

1. Go to the User CP and click on Edit Signature
2. Upload an image
3. Save your signature
4. Go back into Edit Signature and now there should be a link to add the image you uploaded.

Ah, I see what's going on - your images aren't too big but I limited the file size. I've increased the number of bytes. However, NDSUFreak, I think that yours is still going to be too big - it's almost 400k which is kinda large.

Just recreate it with text or make note of it. It's the thought that counts.

Personally I think banning Vic would have just been easier. One bully in the sand box has to ruin it for EVERYONE! ;)

I find it interesting when they throw t-shirts into the crowd, and just about everyone is begging for one. But the throw hits someone who wasn't even paying attention!! I guess the dome has to wake some people up somehow.
