Kris McCleary was in from Napoleon. He is going for his fourth straight state title this year at 215lbs. He is also a great linebacker and running back for Napoleons returning state championship football team.

Dustin Walraven out of South Dakota is coming to NDSU on a visit in Oct. He is a 4 x state champ out of Huron. They are also looking at some wrestlers out of Jackson County, MN.

It was reported on a SD High School Message Board that Walraven is signing with SDSU, nothing official yet I don't believe?

McCleary is a great wrestler no doubt. Just wonder if we can build at great program from ND wrestlers? No lack of respect but still. But IMO he should be a 2 time state champ. Our boy Lee Vandall got jobbed in his state championship match IMO (gotta stick up for NC ND) but it was a hell of a match and Kris never quit. Would love to see him in a Bison singlet. FLAME SUIT ON!!!

There have been a lot of ND wrestlers that have been successful at Big 10 and Big 12 schools. Getting the best 3-4 from ND every year would be a big plus.
