Apparently he needed just one more tackle and 1/2 a sack to get his credit due. Nice game Joseph, way to show them who they missed out on recruiting! ;)

recorded 12 tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks as
third-ranked North Dakota State defeated 17thranked Western Illinois 41-28
before a crowd of 15,619 at Hanson Field in Macomb, Ill.
The Illinois
native recorded his second straight and sixth double-figure tackle effort of
his career. Mays, a Buchanan Award candidate, added a pass breakup in the
victory. He was named the GWFC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in
his career.
