Very interesting article. This could lead to the FBS MVC Football conference.

The list of dominos that would have to fall is lengthy, but Bowman admits having a future vision of joining the Big 12 Conference.

“I don’t think it’s an impossible goal,” Bowman said of competing with such schools as Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas and Missouri. “A number of individuals who are knowledgeable about these matters have indicated that the Big 12 appears to be a good fit for Illinois State, and I think that argument has some credibility.”

The die is cast. The destiny of thr GREAT STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA is in our hands. I hope we handle it wisely, in this case we really don't have time, right buffalobilljr?+++++++++++++++++++++++++===

I don't think they're that much different than us in this area. You always have to look at ways to improve your situation, that's what they are doing. I'm guessing they are no closer to moving up than we are. I'm thinking the Gateway as a whole (plus or minus a few players) could make that move 5-10 years down the road.

I actually don't have any issue with the article, or with the direction the president there is trying to head in. It's forward thinking, however unrealistic that thinking may appear to be in the short term.

Riddle me this: would you rather be among peer institutions (in the Gateway conference) with presidents thinking big like this, or among the UNDs and Kupchellas of the world where progress is made with the transmission firmly engaged in "R", and only after someone else leads the way?

So it sounds like you are saying to give to NDSU Team Makers, right?

Hopefully that campaign is still going well for you sambini.

Its been a very good year. And I am always looking for new TEAMMAKERS starting at 100.00. We need to build up the base of our membership.

The thing is, things could look a lot different after the moratorium ends. No one knows what restrictions the NCAA will have in place. You can bet they are going to have some big changes when it does. There seems to be no end to the teams that are trying to move up.
