The Bison rallied for a 3-2 victory over Creighton tonight in Fargo. Creighton scored late in the first and early in the second to go up 2-0. The herd rallied with three quick goals midway through the half to pick up the win. Michele Martinez scored two and freshman Candice D'Arcangeli potted her first as a Bison.
The Bison have been struggling with injuries so far this season. Alison Feders has yet to play a game and Becky Iwanicki went down early in the first game of the season. They both went under the scope last Friday so could be back in the next couple of weeks if all goes well. Freshman Marissa Wolfgram went down midway through the first half tonight and did not return. She was on crutches after the game. This leaves us with only two available outfield subs which is flirting with disaster. Hopefully we get some of these girls back healthy soon.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
In spite of all this adversity the team is 4-1 heading into Sundays Game at UW-Green Bay. Keep it up Bison!
