Until we prove ourselves, hopefully on saturday, we deserved a bump down IMHO.

I think the one place drop was fair. It wasn't like we lived up to our potential against SFA.

It's our ranking at the END of the season that counts IMHO. I'd like to see a slow, steady climb towards the top from here on in.

IMO i dont think we even played like the 25th rated team in the country so the one spot drop was fair....we just gotta show our true colors the rest of the season....and hopefully it starts on saturday

They are still a FBS team though, that's like saying we didn't deserve credit for our Ball State win last year or it won't mean anything when we beat Western Michigan, both lower rated FBS teams. Give a team credit for beating a team in a higher division....

we play central michigan not western michigan...nonetheless, I do not want to argue with you, but iowa state is a terrible team. Being in a higher division (Big 12 even) does not necessarily mean being of a higher caliber. They lost to a Kent State team (23-14) that just got smoked by Kentucky (56-20), who happens to be a terminal BCS-league underachiever, along with Iowa State.

I smell a Jackrabbit upset of UNI.

The Bison need to keep their part of the bargin and beat Sam Houston.

And that's fine that you say they are horrible but are you seriously gonna play that game? Well we beat Ball State by 5, Ball State lost to Michigan by 8, Michigan beat Minnesota by 14, and we lost to Minnesota by 1, carry the 6, divide by 13, multiple by 3 and that means we beat Michigan! That "they played this team who lost to that team," crap is garbage. All I'm saying is give UNI credit for the win. I don't care what kind a FBS team NDSU plays in the future, if we win, I'm going to celebrate beating a team in a higher division, wether it's Temple or Ohio State. Who cares if the team is horrible.

I am not playing the numbers game, merely putting things in perspective. If we were to beat a team like Temple, I would celebrate the same way I celebrated beating SFA, because we are supposed to beat these teams. Like I said before, being in a higher division does not necessarily mean being of a higher caliber.
