Watched the first half of the game down at Cubby's and the gophers look horrible. Not that I even care about the gophers as my sooners are destroying north texas 49-0 in the 3rd quarter.

And Bowling Green adds another TD

21-0 with 2:26 left in the second.

saw that.

I wonder if it's to much to ask for any of our future competition to have a somewhat respectable game?

SFA is squeaking by Tarleton State 17-14
CMU looks lost down 45-0 to Kansas
Davis lost to DII Western Washington
SHSU pulled a squeaker by DII Angelo
SDSU lost to WIU in 4OT
Illinois State LOST to nonscholly Drake
SUU lost 17-37 to Montana

Thankfully Cal Poly currently has the lead over Texas State:D
Could be the only good thing to come out of this weekend for the Great West

Well then! I think my question to Cal Poly fans about how they were expecting to replace 5 all-conference/all-american's on defense has been answered. :hide:

38-28 Texas State

I agree and it gave me something to laugh about after following this very depressing thread about our future opponents.

In Brewster's post game does he blame the loss on playing against an inferior opponent. He might say that if they had played Texas, LSU or USC they would have won going away.

The telling game will be next week for the gophers. Does this teach them something and they get their act together, or are they starting a trend? A loss or a mediocre game against a cupcake will send them on a death spiral for the season IMHO. Who do they play next week?

Did MN look sloppy or were they just outplayed. All I heard about Brewsters fall camp was that he ran it like a boot camp and beat the crap out of those guys. Maybe that wasn't such a good idea?

Same old Gophers really, combination of horrible pass defense and inability to finish a game.

To put this in perspective, Bowling Green lost to Temple last year. Ouch!

They didn't look any better than the team NDSU dominated last year in the dome.

Go Frank Solich beat Punky Brewster's Goophers and jam that big foot of his further into his big mouth.

If it wasn't for the UM wrestling and hockey teams they would be like a mid major.

Doesn't that fact that being good at only those 2 sports in fact make you a mid-major at highest? :-)

Yep, they are a Big 10 school with mid major aspirations.
