well, its not good that is what it is!
ISU lost a ton of guys, but they still have Drone @ QB. I just don't understand this.

I hope ISU doesn't turn into Georgia Southern of 2006. This team is predicted by about everyone to finish near the top of the Gateway.

We need to play GOOD teams not mediocre teams to help our ranking!
Gene Taylor does our part; goes out and schedules teams that are supposed to be really good, then they fall flat on their a@@. :banghead: For crying out loud what is next, is Minnesota NOT going to make the Rose Bowl this year?!!! ;)

the good news is that this is only the first game of the season. Plenty of time for ISU to turn it around.

We will know how good Drake is in a couple of weeks when they host Northern Iowa. If the Bulldogs pull off an upset there, the Pioneer League likely will be talking the playoffs again this year. Remember Drake league mate San Diego had that talk all last season before losing to UC Davis in their final regular season game.
