Just talked to TICKET MAN at NDSU.

Can we get 3,500 before Saturday? I know a TON of people that THINK they can just walk up, but SDSU game I heard the same thing and they were turned away.

My God, I JUST started a thread asking that VERY SAME question!!:D (And we'd actually need 3,700 more for a sellout.)

Do you know if that's including students, or not??

ha ha.. hilarious!!

Im guessing he uses an AVERAGE student section attendence in that number, wouldn't you think?

Oops lakes, I made a mistake. You said 15,500, not 15,000. I read it as 15,000. Then we need 3,700 more. Sorry about the mistake.:)

There are a lot of people that buy tickets on game day, otherwise known as "walk up" sales. As more games sell out, this will change. Some people learn the hard way.

My neighbor was just telling me he is going to go the game and "always" buys on game day. I was trying to convince him otherwise. If these numbers are true, I should share this info with him. I wonder how many tickets the Bison typically sell the week of game day? God I hope it sells out!!!

I have a tough time believing we've sold 15,500 tickets when I can go to the website and order 4 tickets side by side in section 17, which is on the 40 yard line! If you don't believe me, try it. I hope I'm wrong because I wanna see this beech sold out.

All I get for section 17 is row KK (i.e. the very last row), and that's even with only two seats.

I have been trying to get two in the endzone reserved section and I can't get 2 together. That must be a good sign.

No I just checked and you can get them together in the endzone.

Those two seats are not in the same section. Same row, but they're on opposite sides of the field.

I just think the ticket computer had a few drinks tonight and decided to play some practical jokes on buyers who aren't paying attention.

It's not the top but it's damn near at the top. I once sat in LL. People assume they suck but since the dome is set up so perfectly it's actually a decent ticket. I'd rather sit on the very top near the 40 instead of the endzone... that's just my preference.

HERE IS WHAT IT LETS ME ORDER ONLINE

STILL AVAILABLE
General Admission
Sideline between the endzone and 10 yard line

YOU CAN GET A SINGLE TICKET (go by yourself, no pairs)
End Zone reserved (not available in pairs)
Pretty much anywhere on the sideline except they are pretty high up

I think the visitor team returns some unsold tickets too.

KK is the top row on the east and west sides. LL is the top row in the endzones.

dude IT WILL SELL OUT!

So that's 15,500 sold. I presume that does not include the student section. What's the average student attendance, 2000? So wouldn't we only need to sell 1,200 more for a sellout?

In the past I have sat in both the end zone and on the sidelines for Bison games. Both areas have their positives.

The side line you are closer to the play throught the entire game. It is easier to judge how far each play gains.

The thing I like about the endzone is you get to see the play develop. You watch the OL open holes and (from a further vantage point) get to see what the RB / QB see.

I have not found a bad seat in the FFD...

I too like both areas. Watching a running play develop or getting to see a linebacker blitz the QB from an end zone seat is pretty cool.

I am sure that includes the student sections. They have somewhere around 3600 seats if I remember correctly.

There are about 1,000 reserved seats left, plus whatever general admission is left, and whatever Team Makers seating hasn't been sold. There are only about 150 non-donor tickets left between the 10's, but the corners are still pretty empty(about 300 left each in sections 6 & 30). Reserved endzone is practically sold out(a few single seats), but there's no way to know how many non-reserved(GA) are left, since some of those tickets are sold at Stop-N-Go's and other locations. It looks like this one will go well over 18,000; probably a 18,800 sell out.

GET IT DONE!!!! We want the FSN announcers to say "LIVE FROM THE SOLD-OUT FARGODOME, THIS IS BISON FOOTBALL!!!!". Or a reasonable facsimile thereof. Talk about sending a message to the viewing public...

Someone asked about the student capacity, I believe it's roughly 3,800. And the 15,500 number is assuming a full student turnout (which most definitely will happen). Because we were at 15,500 yesterday, I'd assume the number may be a little higher today. Maybe at least a couple hundred. We're probably still at over 3,000 left to sell at this point.

The student turnout is usually good, especially the first game. Even last year it looked pretty full online against Concordia-St.Paul. Hopefully we sell the M-FER out. Spread the word.

Section 17 is my section...way cool. But I am a lot farther down in row A right next to the student section which really helps because many in that section have not stood up since they were a lot younger.

I know that the post card sent out by the alumni association said that Joe Sensor's was the only place to see th ndsu game live in the twin cities, but I just looked on my tv guide and it's got ndsu vs. sfa live on fsn that day. anyone else see the same thing?
