It looks like Matt Anderson will be starting on Sept. 8, not Matt Kittleson. The forum article says "Maresh is moving from a weakside outside linebacker spot to the other outside linebacker position in place of Humber"

Anderson will get a chance to show why he was a top notch recruit from the class of 2006.

A little background for those of you who don't know Matt Anderson is (and to refresh the memories of those who are old like me): Anderson is a redshirt freshman from Cavalier, North Dakota. He won the 200 meters at the state meet as a junior and holds two school records at his high school (10.8 100 and 22.3 in the 200). His senior year he rushed for 2000+ yards, made 100+ tackles with 10 intereceptions, and also did returns on special teams. The scouting services say he had a 4.0 GPA, but the University of Minnesota was the only other DI school to give him a look! He wasn't named Gatorade POY either... hey, there's a trivia question in their someplace.

Oh yeah, anybody know who the other first-time starters are going to be? How about which redshirts made it into the two-deep?

Matt is a great young man also. He worked for us last summer.

Any more minor in possession violations from the linebacker core and we'll have to start pulling red shirts.

These guys are the team leaders on defense they need to be keeping everyone else out of trouble not getting in it themselves.

WR- Alex Belquist
SS- Kyle Belmont, Cyrus Lemon

Matt Gratzek will play on DL and it looks like a couple OL will be on the depth chart as well.

This topic has already been beat to death enough. I think we all realize what is going on by now.

Seeings how Maresh and Mays are over the age of 21, I assume they won't be getting any minors :D. ;)
