I'm thinking he'll be added on 9/16. Rhett Bomar (on the list) better watch his back (side) on 9/15. Can you say bulletin board material. Anything to make the Bison hungry in 2007 is a good thing. Bomar will be a marked man IMO.

Walker: While a good player and field leader on a top-calber team, he probably won't get enough exposure. Also, I'm not sure he would rank ahead of any of the QBs on the list in terms of talent.

The guy who now writes for sports network said that back in December.

I thinks wins at Central Michigan and Minnesota would be more exposure than most other FCS QB's would get, except for playoff time. Let's hope Walker can get it done in these big games.

I am willing to bet every player on this Bison team could care less about any personal awards unless the most important team goals are achieved. If this team goes undefeated they will all be number one to us.

Joe Mays did make it on the Buck Buchanan list.

Preseason award/all-star list are ridiculous. I don't see the point in saying "we think these guys will be good". I don't get me started on preseason polls. I-AA they're not as bad b/c at least at the end of the year there's a playoff system to find the true #1 but in FBS everyone is pigeonholed into their ranking.

I don't suppose that Mr. App wrote that. :uhyeah:

Surprise Surprise. Walker doesn't play in the Southern Conf.!!

The guy has some serious east coast bias, especially Southern football. I would look for more of the same coming out of TSN this fall. It's a shame because Matt did such a good job last year.
