Care to tell the people who don't want to sign up the recruit that the Gophers lost out on?

Gophers basketball: Tubby Smith loses recruit

"Dallas point guard Nate Garth, Tubby Smith's first recruit at the University of Minnesota, has changed his mind about committing to the program.

A 6-foot-4 senior at Woodrow Wilson High School, Garth said he had a phone conversation with Smith today and both decided it was best for him to reopen his recruitment.

"It's nothing against (Smith) or against me," Garth said. "The relationship is still fine. There were just a couple new factors, but Minnesota's offer is still on the table."

Garth still plans to make an official visit to Minnesota in mid-September.

Texas, Memphis and Vanderbilt are also showing interest in Garth. "

Thank you for posting that! They also just signed a JUCO Sophmore named Paul Carter. He's a 6ft 8 small forward who should help them immediately.
