Crookston guard class of 2008, Kamille Wahlin, has narrowed her list. It includes: NDSU, UND, UW Green bay. Iowa, Kansas.

I know that Rachelle Eckmann has verballed from the 2009 high school class and Amy is trying to get Kamille Wahlin and Jenny Gilbertson to commit from the 2008 class. Besides those girls have any others committed or does anyone know who else is being recruited?

I have yet to hear of anyone else but Amy has mined the Minnesota Stars AAU program of late so their might be some folks there.

Wahlin is a big key although I have heard talk that she will end up at a big ten school. She provides great experience at point guard. With the Bison having depth at the 2-3-4 position, she would be a nice complement.

I think she is Big Ten bound....many people think Iowa.

Will she sign in the fall signing period?

No word to my knowledge. I think she is the "jewel" of local recruits....she has local fan appeal, and she is a top notch point guard, which we need with Amanda leaving. She's a true Division One talent at that position.

Not sure what Birkel's verbal means in terms of Wahlin. I think together they would make a fantastic backcourt. Birkel gives us a roster of 12 for 08-09 (IF Annika Walseth returns).
