I just stopped up at the ticket office at the BSA and received some awesome news! Another 84 season tickets were sold this week!! I love this buzz, and the season is still 24 days away. :) I had stopped up to buy Stephen F. Austin tickets for my in-laws and was curious about ticket sales...and was thrilled when I found out this many season tickets sold this week in addition to approximately 500 single game tickets for the home opener! How awesome would it be to sell this thing out two weeks ahead of time?!? I better tell my aunt and her husband to pick up tickets for them and their family while there's still tickets left!

From my calculations there are about 3800 student seats available. Since this is the first home game after a holiday weekend I would assume the students will pack their allocated seats. If season ticket sales top out at 7200 that means there should only be a total of 8000 single game seats available. I also heard NDSU employees are getting 2 tickets each. Not sure how that will impact attendance, but my guess is that it will fill about 1000 seats. So all that remains is approx. 7000 seats. Players parents and visitors will also account for about another 500 seats. Finally, all that needs to be sold to other fans in the area is approximately 6500 single game tickets. Hopefully "operation sell this mother out" is a success for SFA. Then we can move on to repeat a sell out for the Sam Houston game.:cheers:
