Can anyone point me to a database of NDSU rosters in the late '80's early '90's? Thanks!

None exist on the web - maybe the sports information folks have one.

If NDSU doesn't start adding prior roster years in the next year or so, I'll probably start working one.

Yeah, nothing online as far as I know. I have game programs from each season going back to the mid 70s.

GoBison.com does have the rosters dating back to 2004, but nothing prior to that.

Old programs and media guides are your best option as far as I know.

Well, one I was looking for was Tom Johnson. I believe he played at NDSU in the late '80's early '90's, but I was not sure. I was also curious to see anything on other kids from the St. Cloud area.

I would think the Athletic Dept would have a list of all past letter winners. As a matter of fact Iam surprised that NDSU doesnt have a lettermans club. PL

Does anyone know when Curt Gunning played? He was a friend of my dad's but (as usual) my dad can't remember when he played.

Gunning was a Senior in 1991. He was a very good running back, but with 10 other very good/great running backs, his playing time was limited a bit. He did mysteriously have a knack for always being mentioned by callers on Eddy's Bison Radio Show back in the day. He was a great guy. It's even possible that he still is.....?

Thanks! I graduated from High School with Tom and lost contact with him. We were on the same bus route in junior high and I knew his older, twin brothers Mark and Eric. I was 99% sure he played at NDSU, converting from RB to DB, but could not find anything.

Hey, Roadwarrior, do you have your programs saved from the past 295 games? Maybe you could help out. I used to have a bunch but they got lost when I moved. (I still suspect foul play was involved since some of the relatives that helped in the move were from UND:innocent: )

He is still a great guy and lives in the Fargo area.

Thanks for the update on Curt. My dad will be happy to see that. He stopped by our house in Rugby after the Montana State game. He's a super guy and has a super family.

Many are called, but few are chosen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's true for the Herd, it's not easy to become a Bison. You have to believe you can do and work hard to be a part of a Bison team.

But if you're quoting Mathew 22:16, "for many are called but few a chosen." To get on THIS TEAM all you have to do is believe! no work involved.

best wishes to all,
kc
